Harris posted: “Filipino Americans contribute to our nation’s success every single day. During Filipino American History Month, our Administration celebrates the important role that Filipino Americans have played and continue to play in the American story.”

According to the Migration Policy Institute, in 2021, the Filipino population in the US is about 1,982,000, with 42 percent living in the state of California. — Aric John Sy Cua
