Bahay Aruga is a temporary shelter for pediatric cancer patients from various provinces who are undergoing treatment at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) and other hospitals in Manila.

Senior Master Sgt. Gerardo B. Tubera, outpost supervisor, led the activity, which aims to bring joy to kids who are fighting cancer.

Some toys and food were given to them, while kids who will celebrate their birthdays in December also received financial assistance from the officers.

The Bahay Aruga management thanked the MPD for the activity and also for giving supplies every month such as food and vegetables, which is a big help for the children and their parents who are staying in Bahay Aruga.

Meanwhile, MPD also distributed school supplies on Dec. 13 to the students of General Malvar Elementary School in Sampaloc.

On Dec. 14, they conducted another gift-giving and outreach program for over 100 fire victims in Barangay 105 in Tondo, where beneficiaries received hot meals, slippers, toys, among others.
