GMA Public Affairs and YouTube team up again for the heartwarming second season of Pinoy Christmas in Our Hearts, a digital series starring Alden Richards, Beks Battalion, and Michelle Dee. This heartwarming series aims to bring joy and festive cheer to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) by celebrating uniquely Filipino Christmas traditions.
Alden Richards is set to make one lucky fan’s holiday season unforgettable. Abigail Gallosa, an OFW in Hong Kong for five years, has sacrificed being with her family in Cebu to support them. As her contract nears its end, she’ll finally get to reunite with them for Christmas. Abigail will also get a surprise “holi-date” with Alden himself in the Christmas Capital of the Philippines, Pampanga. Together, they’ll experience the magic of creating traditional fish lanterns and listening to the ethereal voices of a parish choir singing Pastorela.
Beks Battalion will be spreading holiday cheer to a hardworking Pinay in Siargao. Mariel Larsen, a fruit-picker and vlogger, has been spending Christmases away from her parents for six years, working hard on Australian farms alongside her family. This year, Mariel has a surprise for her loved ones – a Christmas flight back to Siargao! But that’s not all, Beks Battalion will join them in building a giant Belen in Tarlac for the annual Belenismo event, adding to the festive magic.
Michelle Dee will bring a smile to a young boy’s face with a simple yet meaningful gift. Sire Garcia, a teenager with a passion for Science and Robotics inherited from his OFW father Jervin, was heartbroken when Jervin had to return to Saudi Arabia earlier than expected. To make up for his absence, Michelle will take Sire and his siblings on an adventure-filled day, transforming an early Christmas present into a memory they’ll cherish forever.
