This cinematic comeback of the DongYan tandem promises a compelling drama delving into themes of family, faith, and love. Scheduled to debut nationwide on Christmas Day, Rewind is among the official entries for the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

The narrative centers around John (Dingdong), who strives to reconcile with his family after a tragic accident claims his wife Mary’s life in a car crash. Yearning to reunite with Mary and repair his relationship with their son Austin (Jordan Lim), John receives unexpected assistance from Lods, portrayed by Pepe Herrera. This aid offers him a chance at a fresh start, albeit with a significant cost.

Dingdong and Marian expressed their joy and gratitude for being part of Star Cinema’s official MMFF entry, a collaboration with APT Entertainment and Agosto Dos Pictures.

I assure viewers that they will connect, whether they are part of a family, a group of friends, a spouse, or a child.”

Marian added, “It’s a source of pride for me to have worked on a dream project… I always look forward to collaborating with Dong again, and even now, I still cherish being on screen with him.”
