It’s a boy: Fabella Hospital welcomes first birth of ‘24

Ronalyn Concepcion, 23, gave birth to her first child at 12:02 a.m. at the Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital in Mandaluyong City welcomed their first child.

Concepcion and her husband, John Michael Dizon, named the baby Jhaiden Railey.

“It was difficult because it was our first baby, but it’s worth it. I hope he grows up healthy,” the mother said.

Dizon said they waited three years to have a baby.

“I am so happy. We will do everything to give him a good future,” the father said.

The hospital provided gifts to the newborn baby such as clothing and other essentials.

“It has been our tradition at Fabella Hospital that we have a New Year baby,” said Dr. Brenan Ian Capuno, High-Risk Pregnancy Specialist.

Capuno noted there was a decrease in the number of mothers who delivered babies on New Year’s Day.
