Rampa: A new hub for drag, fun, and entertainment

Rampa is the brainchild of RS Francisco, Ice Seguerra, Liza Diño, and their business associates including Cecille Bravo, Louiagen Cabel, and the renowned Divine Divas – Precious Paula Nicole, Brigiding, and Viñas de Luxe.

Rampa is inspired from the success of the Divine Divas’ concert

Inspired by the phenomenal success of the Divine Divas’ New Frontier Theater concert last year, they envisioned a permanent platform where these talented drag queens could consistently showcase their artistry and connect with their audience.

“It’s not just a one-time show; it’s too beautiful for that,” Diño remarked. “We wanted to create a space where the Divas and other drag performers could consistently share their art and talent, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity beyond the LGBTQIA+ spectrum.”

Rampa is set to become a platform for local drag queens

Rampa’s vision extends far beyond simply being a stage. It’s an immersive experience, akin to stepping into a captivating movie or a live theatrical production. The stunning performances by drag queens aren’t just entertainment; they’re a platform for self-expression, communication, and connection with the audience.

“Rampa is a celebration of artistry, diversity, and acceptance,” Diño shared. “It’s a place where everyone is welcome to come together, enjoy the electrifying performances, and be part of something extraordinary.”

While Rampa had its soft opening on Jan. 17, the grand opening is set for Feb. 10.

“The performances by drag queens are regarded as a form of art, providing a platform for self-expression and communication with the audience. Rampa goes beyond being a venue; it’s an immersive experience, akin to watching a captivating movie or a live theatrical performance,” Diño noted. — Nickie Wang
