Erwin Tulfo leads OCTA’s 2025 senatorial survey

ACT-CIS Rep. Erwin Tulfo led the OCTA Research’s latest senatorial survey results for the May 2025 elections, which were released on Thursday, April 4.

OCTA’s survey, which was conducted from March 11 to 14, revealed that 16 personalities have a statistical chance of winning a senate seat if the May 2025 elections were held during the survey period.

Tulfo had a significant lead, with 58 percent of Filipinos saying they would vote for him.

Statistically tied for second and third place were former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III (52 percent) and Senator Christopher “Bong” Go (50 percent).

Rep. Tulfo’s brother and broadcaster Ben Tulfo finished fourth to fifth with a 43 percent overall voting preference.

Former President Rodrigo Duterte ranked fourth to sixth with a 38 percent overall voting preference, followed by former Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, who ranked fifth to 10th with a 34 percent overall voting support.

Tied for 6th to 11th place were Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa (33 percent) and Former Senator Manny Pacquiao (32 percent).

Likewise, sharing the 6th to 12th place were Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla (30 percent) and Senator Imee Marcos (29 percent).

The survey also found former Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso in the 7th to 14th spot with a 27 percent overall voting preference and Senator Pia Cayetano in the 9th to 16th spot with a 26 percent voting preference

Senator Francis Tolentino and Senator Lito Lapid tied for 11th to 19th place with 22 percent of the voter support.

Also tied for 12th to 19th place were cardiologist and online health personality Willie Ong and Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos Jr., with 21 percent of the voter preference.

OCTA’s “Tugon ng Masa” First Quarter 2024 Survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews of 1,200 adult respondents nationwide.
