Viva’s ‘Beks Days’
However, Reggie’s surprise leukemia diagnosis may soon end their annual celebration. Heartbroken, they agree to go to Camaraines Sur for a last great adventure together which they’re already claiming to be the best days of their lives.
The poignant getaway naturally turns into hilarious antics with these three comics, but they also make for quiet time to put whatever issues still loom over their friendship to rest for Reggie’s sake.
Chad Kinis is also the movie’s director and promises their followers who have been missing new uploads that “Beks Days of Our Lives” will more than make up for their vlogging break.
The comedy opens nationwide today.
Diesel and Momoa’s ‘Fast X’
Global franchise sensation “The Fast and Furious” revs up its final epic chapters beginning with “Fast X” and its returning cast, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Ludacris Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Jason Statham, John Cena and Scott Eastwood, as well as with Oscar winners Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron.
Helmed by Louis Leterrier, who is best known for his impressive action filmmaking, from “The Transporter” to “The Incredible Hulk,” the movie also features new big-named cast members, including Jason Momoa, Oscar winners Brie Larson, Alan Ritchson, Daniela Melchior and legendary Oscar winner Rita Moreno.
Since the “Fast” franchise began, Dom Toretto (Diesel) has fiercely protected his loved ones and does everything to keep them safe. Time and again, he puts his life on the line to protect the family he’s created. This time, though, he has more responsibility, especially with his eight-year-old son.
Enter new adversary Dante (Momoa), and, as the director says, “Dom has met his match.”
“Dante is fluid — he’s a snake. Not only has Dante analyzed Dom for 20 years, but he’s learned from Dom and is completely unpredictable,” Letterier adds.
Momoa was excited to infuse his own flare into the portrayal of Dante. “I hadn’t played a villain in about 10 years, and the opportunity to have that role in this franchise meant so much to me,” he says.
Star and producer Diesel says. “When we made the first movie, we filmed it in LA, and it was a regional story. We never anticipated its global implications or appeal. We certainly didn’t anticipate that we would travel all over the world and take the theme of family around it.”
“Fast X” opens today from Universal Pictures International.
