This Makati resto-pub boasts massive on-site brewery

In 2014, Alec, Raymond, and Noel Jr. Tempongko set out to create a place where people could treat themselves to a tall, refreshing glass of craft beer after a hard day’s work.

The Tempongko brothers wanted it to be where expertly crafted beers were paired with a delectable menu of wings, ribs, pork knuckles, and so much more.

Although the brothers first started out just wanting to promote local craft beer, they soon partnered with chef Gene Gonzalez to create a full-on resto-pub.

Thus, the Perfect Pint was born.

Almost a decade later and Perfect Pint is thriving, with its new and third branch now open The Proscenium Retail Row in Rockwell.

The Proscenium branch is spacious, cozy, and well-lit. There is a mix of German-inspired traditional pub elements and modern design touches: for example, its copper-clad bar and tap handles combine with warm lighting and wood tones to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Of course, the star of the branch is Perfect Pint’s selection of award-winning beers.

Its Equinox Amber Ale, for example, successfully bagged the 2019 Asia Beer Championship’s Chairman’s Selection Award thanks to its delectable combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, and oak.

Perfect Pint was also awarded during the 2019 Asia Beer Championships in Bangkok for its smoked malt White Mamba Pale Stout.

Finally, the Perfect Pint’s American-style Cacao Kick Stout also medalled at the Asia Beer Championships back in 2018.

Besides these winning brews, customers can find more selected craft beer as the branch houses the resto-pub’s biggest on-site brewery, housing 30 beers on tap.

The brewery is also fully automated, standing ready to transform the highest quality ingredients into refreshing beers.

The resto-pub’s interior is a mix of German-inspired traditional pub elements and modern design touches. 

If that wasn’t enough, the new branch offers The Perfect Pint’s 32 oz. crowlers (big beer cans) that can be filled and sealed according to the customers’ preferences.
