Manolo Fortich hosts NBL national finals

THE top teams from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will clash for the prestigious title in the National Basketball League (NBL) Philippines Kabataan Season 2 National Finals slated in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon from Oct. 17 to 21, 2023.

Regional champion teams from Bulacan, Laguna and Batangas in Luzon; Roxas City in Visayas; Zamboanga City, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Sur, Pagadian City and host Bukidnon in Mindanao are heading to the Manolo Fortich Gymnasium with the mission of claiming the NBL national championship.

NBL Philippines executive director Leonardo Andres said that Mayor Rogelio Quiño embraced the league’s vision and has assured the success of the tournament in the basketball-loving municipality.

The NBL technical team has recently conducted an ocular visit at the venue and paid a courtesy call to Quiño and his councilors at the Manolo Fortich Municipal Hall.

Andres, along with league chairman Atty. Carmelo Arcilla and president Joanne Marie Fabella, also expressed gratitude to Vice Mayor Reynaldo Bagayas Jr. and the people of Manolo Fortich for supporting the NBL program.
