Andi Eigenmann just completed her first official surfing competition recently.
She took to social media to proudly share the news with followers.
Posting photos and videos of the stint, Andi related in the caption:
“Really happy that we made our way up here to La Union to be part of Single and Unattached’s 10th year. I remember coming to their event back in 2018 and this was the time I got hooked into surfing. 6 years later, here I am!”
She went on to detail how she actually competed in the same division as her partner, Philmar Alipayo, who already has several trophies to his name.
Philmar won, of course.
Addressing her partner, Andi wrote, “I’m in awe of your dedication to always do so well in everything you choose to do, Mahal. You inspire me always!”
Andi went on to describe the experience “surreal” and “super fun.”
“I’ll be heading home with only more love for this sport that has brought me and (Philmar) together.”
Andi and Philmar live in Siargao together with their kids, Lilo, Koa, and Ellie, her daughter with former partner Jake Ejercito. — Neil Ramos
