Ylona Garcia teases new song and MV with Youtube streamers Fuslie, Valkyrae

Singer Ylona Garcia has teased an upcoming collaboration with Youtube streamers Leslie Ann “Fuslie” Fu and Rachell Marie “Valkyrae” Hofstetter.

In an Instagram post, Ylona shared several behind the scenes photos of the three of them while teasing an upcoming song and music video in collaboration with 100 Thieves, a lifestyle brand and gaming organization.

“Heyyyy, so we’re totally not releasing a song this week with @100thieves…and totally not releasing a music video…” Ylona said in the post’s caption.

The singer further asked fans to choose among the photos and pick their favorites, hinting that the one with the most votes may possibly be the album’s cover.

Ylona rose to fame through the reality television series, Pinoy Big Brother, where she managed to show her talents in singing, acting, and dancing. Her music career continued with her signing under Star Music in 2016 and releasing her debut album, “My Name Is Ylona Garcia.”

In 2021, she was signed under Paradise Rising, which was a label under Globe Telecom and 88rising, the music company representing popular Asian acts like Joji, Niki, and Rich Brian.

Ylona later released her single, “All That,” along with its music video in March of the same year. She has also performed in the Head in the Clouds Music Festival, which was an annual music festival organized by 88rising.

Following her booming career, Ylona announced that she will be permanently staying in the US in 2022.

Fuslie and Valkyrae are both affiliated with 100 Thieves, which is also co-owned by the latter. Prior to streaming on Youtube, the two streamers previously streamed and grew their audience on its competitor’s platform, Twitch.

While mostly known for their gaming streams, both Fuslie and Valkyrae had previously ventured into some musical projects of their own.

Fuslie had released singles such as “Sabotage,” “What If,” and “With You In The Clouds,” in 2021 and “The Dawn” and “Already Missing You” in 2023. Meanwhile, Valkyrae had collaborated with fellow streamer Wendy “Natsumiii” Luo for a cover of Lily “Lilypichu” Ki’s “Last Cup of Coffee.” Abigail Adriatico
