The businesswoman who is also wife to Sen. Koko Pimentel, conceptualized the whole Alpina experience thanks to her background in the hospitality industry. She is also a spa aficionado who knows what’s good and what’s not and enlisted her sister Stephanie Yu-Chua and managing partner Maria Zhukova for their respective expertise in previously running nails and eyebrow salons.

Women have been queuing up for their nail art, be they graphic designs or rhinestones and Swarovski crystals for bling. 

“We shared a common interest in opening a luxury spa,” said Stephanie, who is also a brow artist and trainer to Aplina’s lash technicians.

Maria Zhukova, on the other hand, is a Russian expert on eyebrow magic and is ready to render her services for semi-permanent makeup and making the brows fuller and shapelier.
