Actress-politician Angelica Jones is highly pleased with her guest stint in GMA 7’s “Tadhana: Reunion The Finale ” on Saturday, June 10, at 3:15pm. With no less than Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera as host, the drama anthology is celebrating its sixth anniversary in several episodes.

“Tadhana” is a well-followed weekly drama anthology that has accummulated millions of views over the years.)

Bullying and vengeance are the themes in the episode which excite the actress-politician who’s also tagged as “Miss Flawless” because of her unblemished smooth and very light skin.

She has experienced being bullied in the past and has religiously avoided exacting vengeance on those who bullied her, as well as those who betrayed her in Laguna politics which she engaged in for some years as an elected member of the provincial board (a position known as “bokal”) for several terms.

In the finale episode, Miss Flawless portrays a rich woman (Ester) who helps her caregiver, Rebecca (Elle Villanueva), vindicate herself against Diane (Faye Lorenzo) who continues to bully her. Ester became familiar with Rebecca’s maltreatment by Diane and her family because Rebecca stayed loyal to Ester whose relatives abandoned her when she discovered that they have been abusing her finances while pretending to take care of her.

Viewers were much impressed with the scenes between Rebecca and Ester, noticing how Angelica related movingly to Rebecca’s recollection of her being bullied by the rich family.

“I was much bullied by my classmates in high school. They pulled my hair, hid my paraphernalia, tried to trip while I am walking. Some even wrote graffiti against me in the cubicles in the comfort room,” recalled Angelica.

She never retaliated, didn’t report to school authorities their shenanigans against her, and also didn’t confide to her mom about the bullying she was getting.

“I prayed to God instead to give me courage and strength, and to make me do well in my studies. There was even a time that I became a champion in declamation,” she further recalled. Angelica also took time to befriend a classmate whom she found out was also being bullied a lot on campus. The stunningly pretty young lady acted as the protector of that bullied classmate.

Angelica’s peaceful and forgiving ways led her to a fruitful career in showbiz as a sexy comedienne and reliable actress. Eventually, her innate helpfulness to others and sympathetic disposition prompted her to cast her lot in Laguna’s politics.

She eventually found out that betrayal horribly exists in politics. One’s allies mysteriously mold into opponents. Her former allies abandoned her and she lost her bid to the House of Representatives in the last election.

She has unswerving supporters and constant friends though, including her mother, Beth Jones, and her (Angelica’s) now grown up son, Angelo.

The private citizen in her found her footing in business. She is now CEO of Flawless Fresh Fragrance and as a brand model, she plans to franchise a derma care clinic in San Pablo City in Laguna. She will call it Miss Flawless Derma Care. She also runs a transport business and eventually venture into film production.

Angelica has always been a well-organized human dynamo. She made time to finish a college degree in Public Administration at Philippine Christian University. She will enroll in personality development classes at Ateneo de Manila University.

Her efforts are recognized by various award-giving bodies.
This year, she received the Maharlikang Filipino Awards 2023 as Outstanding Woman of Strength and Inspiring Business Leader of the Year, the Gawad Agila as Most Outstanding Female Public Servant of the year, and the Crystal International Women’s Awards 2023 as Outstanding and Inspirational Icon Women Empowerment and Public Service 2023.

Miss Flawless remains faithful to God and has set aside romantic alliances. She reads the Bible every day.
