No water in parts of Metro Manila, Rizal until June 9 – Manila Water

Parts of Metro Manila and Rizal province will experience water service interruption from June 6 to 9 due to line-related maintenance, east zone concessionaire Manila Water said.

In a statement, Manila Water said the affected areas include Quezon City, Marikina City, San Juan City, Taytay, Rizal; and Cainta, Rizal. 

It said the water supply in Quezon City will be cut off starting from 10 p.m. on June 7 to 4 a.m. on June 8. Affected areas are parts of Barangay Claro, Duyan Duyan, and Quirino 3-A

Meanwhile, in parts of Barangay San Isidro in Taytay, water service interruption will start from 10 p.m. on June 7 to 4 a.m. on June 8; or 11 p.m. on June 7 to 5 a.m. on June 8.

Still in Taytay, parts of Barangay Dolores (Upper Dolores, Alta Monte, Montville, Harris Memorial, Mapayapa, Glendale, and Palmera 6) will experience water service interruption from 10 p.m. on June 7 to 4 a.m. on June 8.

In parts of Barangay Concepcion Uno (Goodrich Village Subd., Mercado Compound, Don Abdon Homes, Nile Village, Summer Homes & Friendly Village), water interruption will be from 10 p.m. on June 8 to 6 a.m. on June 9.

Line Maintenance will also cause water service interruption in parts of Barangay Dolores (Upper Dolores, Alta Vista, and Beverly Hills) in Taytay, Rizal starting from 10 p.m. on June 8 to 4 a.m. on June 9.

In Quezon City, line meter replacement will cause water service interruption from 10 p.m. on June 8 to 4 a.m. on June 9. The affected areas are parts of Barangay Culiat.

Residents of San Juan City will also experience water service interruption due to leak repairs starting from10 p.m on June 8 to 4 a.m. on June 9. Affected areas are parts of Barangay Batis (San Miguel, San Carlos, San Pablo, San Luis, R.L Fernandez).

On the other hand, several parts of Cainta will also experience water service interruption starting from 10 p.m. on June 8 to 6 a.m. on June 9 due to line meter and strainer declogging. Affected areas are parts of Barangay Santo Domingo (Cainta, and Muntingdilaw, Antipolo, Vista Verde Country Homes).

Manila Water advised affected customers to store enough water supply during the maintenance service. It reminded the consumers to conduct flushing once the water service is restored. — Nicole Magmanlac
