“National University is thrilled to have coach Norman Miguel back as the new head coach of the NU Girls’ and Women’s Volleyball Teams,” wrote NU in a Facebook post.

Miguel previously coached the Lady Bulldogs in UAAP seasons 81 and 82, finishing with a 4-10 and a 2-0 records, respectively.

He will be tasked to lead NU back to the women’s volleyball top after the Lady Bulldogs failed to defend their Season 84 title in Season 85. Miguel will still have the core of Season 84 Rookie of the Year – MVP Bella Belen as well as Alyssa Solomon, Sheena Toring, and Lams Lamina.

In the girls division, Miguel is expected to have the Lady Bullpups defend their title.
