PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has ordered the adoption of the “Bagong Pilipinas” brand of governance and leadership campaign of his administration, which is characterized “by a principled, accountable and dependable government,” Malacañang said Saturday.
Presidential Communications Secretary Cheloy Garafil said that Marcos, through Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, issued a memorandum circular dated July 3, 2023.
In his memo, Marcos said the Bagong Pilipinas shall be part of the government’s branding and communication strategy.
“Towards attaining a promising future for the nation, this administration commits to embody a brand of governance and leadership that is focused on implementing an all-inclusive plan for economic and social transformation,” the President said.
“Bagong Pilipinas is the overarching theme of the administration’s brand of governance and leadership which calls for a deep and fundamental transformation in all sectors of society and government and fosters the government’s commitment towards the attainment of comprehensive policy reforms and full economic recovery,” he added. — Catherine S.
