Japan’s Kurashiki dethrones Creamline, conquers PVL Invitationals

Japan’s Kurashiki dethroned Creamline with a 19-25, 25-23, 25-19, 20-25, 15-13 final win to conquer the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Invitational Conference at the PhilSports Arena on Sunday, July 30.

Tamaru Asaka dropped 29 points on 28 attacks and that one service ace which clinched the championship for the Ablaze, who swept their six games in the tourney.

Tanabe Saki put Kurashiki at match point with a down the line attack before Asaka calmly delivered the ace for the championship.
