Blackpink, female K-pop group, turns 7

BLACKPINK is celebrating its seventh anniversary as a female K-pop group on Tuesday.

Members Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa Have shared exclusive polaroid photos on their respective Instagram accounts to mark the event.

Blackpink expressed its love and gratitude toward each other and fans called “BLINKS.”

It was in 2016 when Blackpink debuted under YG entertainment with its single album Square One featuring hit songs “Whistle” and “Boombayah.” — Michelle Kaye Villanueva
