The enchanting ambiance was further enhanced by the melodious tunes of the Marcy David Band, creating an atmosphere of celebration and delight. Many talented singers, including Emmy Florentino Gonzalez, Manuel Victorio Negado, Gyn-gyn Ponce-Quiazon, Darius Razon, the renowned jukebox king of the ’70s and George Sarakinis from Greece, volunteered to entertain the celebrant and her guests, filling the room with music and laughter, especially when George belted a medley of Elvis Rock ‘n’ Roll, bringing everyone to stand and dance.

The highlight of the evening was a heartwarming moment when all the gentlemen in attendance lined up to dance with Liza while Marcy David Sr. played a charming foxtrot number. The dance floor came alive with elegance and grace, showcasing the profound friendship and admiration Liza has earned over the years.

Among the numerous surprises, the pinnacle was the cake-blowing ceremony. The cake, baked by Chichi Laperal, was a culinary masterpiece. As Liza blew out the candles, she radiated with joy and gratitude, surrounded by the love and warmth of her dear friends.

The night concluded with heartfelt birthday wishes and cheers, expressing warm sentiments of love, appreciation, and admiration for the remarkable person that Liza is. The gathering served as a testament to her impactful presence in the lives of those around her.

On this momentous occasion, we extend our warmest and sincerest birthday wishes to Liza Quirolgico. May this year and the ones to follow be filled with love, joy, and success. May her light continue to shine brightly, and may she be blessed with many more birthdays to celebrate with the people she holds dear.

Meanwhile, two days after Makati Shangri-La Hotel reopened, Red Cross Governor Baby Ortiz immediately invited close friends to celebrate her birthday.

Almost one third of the hotel’s lobby lounge was reserved for Baby’s guests who enjoyed the new menu of the lounge. The hotel staff led by food and beverage head Ryan Reyes went the extra mile to make sure Baby’s guests were well taken cared of.

It was an afternoon of fun and pleasant exchanging of latest news while enjoying the nice ambiance of the hotel and being entertained by a pianist playing beautiful songs. Guests stayed till late while others had to leave to go to another event. Baby’s guests will never forget their happy experience at the Shang being welcomed by Hotel Manager Udo Wittich and Adam Bursik, Beverage Manager from Shangri-La Hotel Singapore who was in town for several days.

A week after another post-birthday party was held at Borro Restaurant in Quezon City where friends enjoyed the mix of culinary delights, entertainment and Camaraderie. This time aside from abundance of food, singing was led by Jukebox King Darius Razon, Gyngyn Ponce and Ayna Ong who all sang to their hearts delight and most especially the dance moves and antics of Chuck Gueco that sent guests to never ending laughter.

The night ended with a lot of takeaways like heart shaped boxes of chocolates from teacher Nelia Sarcol, delicious turon and oranges from Gyngyn and more food to take home. Add to that the fusion of Filipino, Mexican and Italian cuisine aside from the lechon from Carmen Lim and a lot of birthday cakes to enjoy.

To dearest partner Baby, may you have more celebrations to come which your friends will always look forward to. Happy birthday!
