Asia Artist Awards 2023 to be held in PH

THE much-anticipated Asia Artist Awards (AAA), a yearly ceremony celebrating the best of the best of K-pop and K-drama, will be staged in the Philippines this December, as reported by Korean media outlet Star News.

Scheduled for December 14, the 2023 AAA will unfold at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan. The artist lineup who will grace the event, however,has not been revealed.

The world’s largest indoor arena as recognized by Guinness Book of World Records, the Philippine Arena can hold up to 50,000 people. It will also be the venue for K-Pop acts such as Blackpink, Seventeen, Tomorrow X Together (TXT) and Twice from September 30 to October 1.

The AAA gathers celebrities from all over the Asian entertainment scene. The occasion is presented as “a festival of a different class.”

Having premiered in 2016, the AAA bestows accolades upon exceptional achievements across the field of music, television, and film.

“The 2023 AAA is heralding a bigger-scale festival this year,” Star News wrote on its website.

Last year’s awarding ceremony was held in Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan and was attended by artists such as The Boyz, Stray Kids, Itzy, Treasure, IVE, Kep1er, Le Sserafim, NewJeans and NMIXX, among others. It was hosted by Super Junior’s Leeteuk and IVE’s Wonyoung.

The awards ceremony is presented by Star News and co-hosted by the Asia Artist Awards Organizing Committee, TONZ Entertainment, and PULP Live World.
