41 more OFWs arrive at NAIA from Israel

A total of 41 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), the eighth batch of Filipinos repatriated from Israel due to the ongoing armed conflict in the Middle East country.

Aside from the 41 OFWs, two minors were also repatriated to ensure their safety, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said.

They arrived at the NAIA Terminal 3 via the Etihad Airways flight EY424 on Monday afternoon, Nov. 13.

Caregiver Claren Rebudal expressed gratitude to the Philippine government for working hard to have her and her six-year old daughter repatriated from Israel which has been the subject of the series of missile attacks since the Oct. 7 Hamas gunmen attack.

Her husband, also a Filipino, chose to stay in Israel. — Ariel Fernandez
