The Cool Smashers, who decided to sit out Alyssa Valdez in the game, thus face the fourth seed Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the semifinals which starts on Thursday.
The second-ranked Choco Mucho Flying Titans take on the third seed Cignal HD Spikers in the other bracket of the semis.
The Highrisers, meanwhile, ended their first tournament in the PVL with a 1-10 record.
