Maine Mendoza caused huge excitement among fans when she declared that her much-awaited first baby with husband Arjo Atayde is “coming soon.”
The TV host said this when her father-in-law Art Atayde asked about it while greeting her on her birthday, March 3.
“First of all, I would like to greet my very nice, very loving and beautiful daughter-in-law, Maine Atayde, a very, very happy birthday,” Art began.
“Ayan Maine ha, pinupuri kita dahil birthday mo,” he added, before jesting, “Pero, tumatanda ka na. So, where’s the baby? Ano ba ang ginagawa ninyo ni Arjo? Palibhasa, puro shopping siguro?”
Co-host Vic Sotto made sure Maine answered saying, “Sagutin mo ‘yung tinatanong ng father-in-law mo.”
Maine replied laughing, “Bossing, coming soon. ‘Pag binigay po ni Lord.”
Maine and Arjo tied the knot in Baguio City last year. — Neil Ramos
