Netflix has just dropped the highly anticipated teaser for the third season of the hit series “Bridgerton.” The preview offers a glimpse into the romantic and dramatic escapades of the Bridgerton family and their circle as they navigate love, society, and self-discovery in London’s high society.

From the creative minds at Shondaland and under the direction of new showrunner Jess Brownell, the third season brings back the beloved characters of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).

Penelope – having moved on from her longstanding crush on Colin after overhearing his unkind words – is now determined to find a husband who will grant her the independence to maintain her secret identity as Lady Whistledown.

Penelope’s journey to find a suitable match will also be challenging and marked by failed attempts and a lack of confidence. On the other hand, Colin returns from his summer travels with a newfound confidence and a fresh look, only to find that Penelope is no longer the supportive friend she once was.

Eager to mend their friendship, Colin offers to mentor Penelope in the art of confidence-building to aid her in her quest for a husband. However, as his lessons begin to yield unexpected results, Colin is forced to confront his true feelings for Penelope.

Complicating matters further for Penelope is her strained relationship with Eloise (Claudia Jessie), who has found an unlikely ally.

Ultimately, as Penelope’s influence in the ton grows, keeping her alter ego as Lady Whistledown a secret becomes increasingly challenging.

The third season of Bridgerton consists of eight episodes, with the first four episodes premiering in the Philippines on May 16 and the remaining four episodes airing on June 13.

The series continues to be set in the vibrant city of London and features an ensemble cast that includes series regulars Nicola Coughlan, Luke Newton, and Claudia Jesse and additional key cast members such as Hugh Sachs, Emma Naomi, and Kathryn Drysdale.
