Cool down with beloved anime, Cinnamoroll

It may be Labor Day holiday but there’s no hope for a holiday from the heat. The Manila Times Lifestyle has a fun tip to share though on how best to cool down on this free day following a special preview from milk tea brand CoCo.

Today, the popular drink chain from Taiwan is rolling out its 2024 summer promo, featuring a collaboration with the equally popular Sanrio character Cinnamoroll. Cinnamoroll is the white dog character of Sanrio who lives at Café Cinnamon. He had an eponymous movie released in 2007 and his adorable story continued on his own YouTube channel launched in 2023.

Cinnamoroll x CoCo combines CoCo’s signature drinks with the adorable qualities of the charming anime star. The brand has concocted three exclusive slushy drinks for the partnership, which also features four toy designs, a branded cup, and a cooler bag.

The first variant is Avocado Pudding, which integrates the richness of ripe avocados with sweet and creamy pudding. Next is Honey Jelly Watermelon, a delight to the senses as it lets different textures interplay. A smooth watermelon blend combines chewy honey jelly toppings and fluffy, salty cream. Finally, the Avocado Cream lives up to its name, with Coco’s house-made pudding complementing the avocado and layer of luscious salty cream.

“Any drink from the Cinnamoroll x CoCo collaboration can be bundled with a Cinnamoroll toy that also comes with a free Cinnamoroll cooler bag,” a staff from CoCo told The Manila Times Lifestyle.

The featured toys comprise the battery-operated Cinnamoroll Surprise, the Heart Stamp, and the Cinnamoroll and Watermelon Slush figure, which shows the character enjoying a CoCo drink.

Cinnamoroll x CoCo will be available nationwide starting today, May 1 across our 110 locations nationwide and will also be available via food delivery apps.
