SC identifies 14 local testing centers for 2023 Bar exams

THE Supreme Court on Wednesday has announced the 14 local testing centers (LTCs) for the 2023 Bar examinations.

These are:

1. St. Louis University in Baguio City;

2. Cagayan State University;

3. University of Nueva Caceres in Naga City;

4. University of Sto. Tomas, Manila;

5. San beda College-Manila,

6. San Beda College-Alabang;

7. Manila Adventist College;

8. University of the Philippines- Diliman;

9. University of the Philippines- Bonifacio Global City;

10. University of San Jose- Recoletos in Cebu City;

11. University of San Carlos in Cebu City;

12. Dr. V. Orestes Romualdez Education Foundation in Tacloban City;

13. Ateneo de Davao University;

14. Xavier University.

In the Bar bulletin 4 series of 2023 released by the Supreme Court, San Beda College-Alabang was selected to be the national headquarters of the Bar exams.

The SC also released the mechanics for venue selection, where examinees were provided a randomized queuing number (RQN) which will determine the time slot and schedule of the examination.

SC said each examinees could only choose a testing center within the venue selection period as follows: July 24 7:00 a.m. to 12 noon (RQN holders from one to 2, 805); 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (RQN holders of 2, 806 to 5, 610); July 25 7:00 a.m. to 12 noon (RQN holders of 5,611 to 8,415) and 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (RQN holders of 8, 416 and over.

The RQN will be sent to the BARISTA account and registered email address of the examinee on July 20, 2023.

“Your right to venue preference is deemed waived if your fail to select an LTC within your time slot. By default, you will be assigned to an LTC in the province or region nearest your present address or law school, depending on the remaining available slots after the entire venue selection period”, said in the SC bulletin.
