L’Oreal mounts triumphant Manila Hair Show 2023

The L’Oréal Professionnel Manila Hair Show 2023, held at Okada Manila Main Ballroom, drew together numerous Filipino hair professionals for an exploration of the latest hair trends, techniques, and innovations.

L’Oreal Professionnel, the flagship professional hair brand of L’Oréal, organized the event with the goal of enhancing the expertise of hair professionals.

Attendees, which included media representatives and key influencers, were introduced to cutting-edge hair breakthroughs through the presentations of two esteemed hair artists — L’Oréal Professionnel India Artistic Ambassador Raman Bhardwaj and L’Oréal Professionnel Global Ambassador Min Kim. These experts, not only showcased their latest creative expressions but also imparted various techniques and tips to elevate the salon experience for both clients and stylists.

Brian Duruin, General Manager of L’Oréal Philippines Professional Products Division, inaugurated the event by discussing L’Oreal Professionnel’s renewed vision and mission.

“The brand is full steam ahead in its mission to elevate the salon industry and it acknowledges the need to revolutionize itself to be ready to lead the future. L’Oreal Pro is the brand that is truly professional, at the forefront of hair technology, and wants to elevate and empower every woman and every stylist,” the executive said.

Throughout the program, Bhardwaj and Kim demonstrated their artistic prowess as models paraded the runway, displaying transformed hairstyles. The stylists showcased a variety of hair colors, styles, and techniques, with models donning sleek and contemporary attire. The experts also provided a detailed demonstration, revealing how they applied these techniques to the runway models.

Bhardwaj, a longstanding L’Oreal Professionnel artistic ambassador from India, showcased works featuring the new iNOA, L’Oréal’s premium ammonia-free hair color. He highlighted iNOA’s ability to deliver vibrant, full-coverage color without ammonia, emphasizing the luxury salon experience it offers.

Kim, a renowned colorist and French balayage educator based in New York, presented how hair color and style can boost Filipinos’ confidence. She emphasized the role of hair professionals in helping individuals express themselves through their hair, utilizing a range of techniques and methods.

The event also featured an iNOA corner where guests could explore L’Oréal Professionnel’s ammonia-free permanent hair color range, along with other offerings such as Blond Studio 8, Metal Detox, and Dia Light, designed to provide optimal hair color and care results.
